Sounds like you have a good plan. Do not forget to post pics when you get them mounted.

i havent heard anything back from roush about the thunderbolt kit so im gonna go with the razzi kit i found since it has grown on me a lot and im really diggin them now. it will be a while before i can get them and put them on though cause im working on buying a house right now and that takes priority over the truck. the wheels and the stereo i just bought are the last thing i buy for the truck til im in the house

im gonna keep the stock wheels and get some aggressive all terrain tires for them and use them during the winter and have the 18s for spring, summer and fall. im not sure what im gonna do with the stock tires though. theyr nearly new so ill likely hang onto them til i find someone who wants them

lol even though i said i was done with the changes after installing the new stereo i find myself still doing things to the truck lol. I have added a cold air intake to the truck and my god did it make a world of difference. i wasnt able to find an actual premade intake until i already had this one on. I got one of those do-it-urself kits from autozone and put it on.
here's a pic of the finiished look

While i was checking on a couple things on Ebay i did a search for truck parts and accessories for my stx and if came up with a couple turbos for it. I need to check with a speed shop in the area to see if they think my stock pistons would hold up to one of those and if so then ill likely be taking the intake off and installing a turbo instead. If i put the turbo on then ill most likey sell the intake since ill have little use for it

Wirelessly posted (Droid2)

Wheels look great. Have you thought about lowering the same in the front and back, maybe just 2 inches? It would look totally different, and you'd still have a little rake.

lol thanks guys. yeah im plannin on doing a 2 or 3 inch drop front and back to keep the slightly raked look.
I wont be able to drop it down into the weeds even though id love to be able too. 2 or 3 inches is all i would be able to safely go since the town i work in has some very rough and steep streets and i really dont want to tear the hell out of my bumper on one lol.
as far as the ebay turbos that was just to see what i could find that i could look somewhere else for later.

You should look into the thunderbolt side skirts they will make the transition better on the sides and look great with the stx bumper.

ok heres a starter drawing im goin to use as a concept skeptch of the mods id love to do to the outside of my stx. the outline isnt quite finished but its a great start to work from. i have other ideas id like to do so ill be doin other drawings to incorporate them.
it shows my ranger with a minimum of a 3" drop front and back, functional hood scoop, lip spoiler on the tailgate, razzi side skirts and a combo racing/boss stripes.
