I just bought a used 2008 Ranger regular cab 7'bed with the 2.3l and manual 5spd. I travel alot with my job and am reimbursed for mileage so economy was my top priority when I was looking. Started looking for a B series Mazda which was hard to find but soon discovered the ranger was the same thing. The truck has 50,400 miles and looks and drives like new. Of course in the 4 cyl 5 speed you get the base truck. All I really miss is the lack of tunes and cruise control. Tommorow I am having a cd/ radio put in. first things first.
A question: ever see a after market cruise control ?
are they difficult to install ?
I am sure I will be back with some more info, still trying to figure out how the spare tire lowering device works.
