Picked my first Ranger up from the little old lady down the street ( not kidding!). It hasn’t run since 2017.
2003 Ranger Edge 4.0 with 32k miles.
What it needed to get running.
Fuel pump/ filter, Fuel system drained.
battery
front brakes and wheel bearings
turn signal relay
wiper blades
front stabilizer bar bushings
New tires.
When I got it back from shop I noticed that the mechanic must have broken off the seat recliner handle ( splined shaft). I knew it was sticking so I should have told him. He must of tried to force it.
It’s going to be a daily driver, taking the place of my ‘01 Tacoma which is pushing 3000k miles on it. I fixed the seat today and removed the toolbox. Looks great.
