New Guy from IL Burbs!
Hey-yo!
I'm Spencer, I'm fairly new to Ford trucks, especially to a Ranger.
I purchased my 98 Ranger from an auction in December, my first 5spd. I can admit, it's been a learning experience. Anyhow, I really dig this truck. I've never owned a pickup truck before. I've owned only cars and driven SUVs. Previous cars:
1996 Chevy Camaro V6
1985 Chevy Camaro 305
2004 Dodge Stratus (blown motor)
1981 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am
2000 Ford Crown Vic Interceptor
1996 Eagle Talon AWD TSi
1994 Pontiac Grand Am
1996 Ford Bronco
1985 Pontiac Trans Am
As you can tell, I love cars, some of them were very cool, some were lemons, ha.
Here's a photo of my truck, which I've deemed as "BLUE THUNDER":
My current plans is basically tune her up, get her running at her best. I already replaced the front bumper which was trashed, couple bulbs here and there. The tires are brand new, hell yeah.
In the future, I would like to eventually get a bull bar, a couple lights, then bigger tires.

Welcome Aboard. And instead of a Bull Bar, get a Waag Bar. There are current plans to get a group order.

To answer your question, I'm going to enjoy it for now, but I do like off-roading.
