Hey everybody, new guy here, the name is Dave. I've been lurking and searching the 2 months I have owned this Ranger and I thought maybe it was time to join and post.

I recently picked up a 2006 Ford Ranger XLT as a 2nd vehicle to use for doing some house work and on days when my other car isn't feeling too good. The other car you ask? A 2004 Saab 9-5 Aero 5 speed with 140,000 miles...its a Saab you have to own two cars.

So here are the details on the Ranger:
120,000 miles
4.0 Auto

Within the first week I had it, I changed out every last fluid, the front differential and transfer case had clearly never been touched. The Transmission looks like it was flushed not too long ago and same could be said about the rear differential. Coolant looked good and so did the brake fluid. I also changed out the serp belt.

I've been doing a few things here and there:
-Projector Retrofit
-JVC Double din stereo
-Nerf Bars
-Bed Bars
-Bull Bar
-3rd brake light with Cargo lights
-Window tint

I have some other small things planned, the shocks are the original so some Bilstein replacements will be going in and I decided to give the T-Bars some cranks while I was at it to prepare for the future of adding some new wheels and slight increase in tires size. Had thoughts on doing something with the seats, either hack off the center piece and seat cover it or get some Explorer seats...but otherwise I pretty much have it where I would like it to be.
