new here. in search of some help on the 86 2.9 V6 5speed 4x4 regcab ranger

Hello everyone. New to this site but not new to the Ford ranger had a 86 before this one but it had a 302 swap with a automatic c4 and a full air bag set up with dream beams up front c notched frame fun little truck. painted it flat black with some old school 14inch stealies painted red with white walls and some sweet pinstripe work around the truck. even made a custom fiberglass dash cover for it cause the one I had was just in enough pieces to tape back together and form it out of some fiberglass. will do my best to find some pictures of it to post up soon. but for right now my buddy from highschool has had this 86 2.9 V6 5speed 4x4 regcab ranger since he has started driving and has been in his family since it was new. Its been sitting for the past 6 years because the slave cylinder failed open and held the clutch free and just this week we had brought it to my house and started to take it apart. we had to issues... one we needed about everything from the clutch pedal plastic bushing that holds it to the slave cylinder rod to the actual slave cylinder and the only part that we could not find and have only found at ford is the actual Line from the master cylinder down to the slave cylinder. we were told by the ford place he had never actually seen one like the one we had witch has a proportioning valve that is right after the mastercylinder the turns into that black plastic house piece that clips into the slave cylinder. will get some photos up as soon as I can get a memory card to work on this camera. but if anyone has had this problem before and did something different then buy a 77$ plastic line from ford pleas let me know. Look forward to using this site more and more.

I didn't read this much because I'm busy getting ready for school but check The Ranger Station - Your Ultimate Ranger Resource They had a lot of knowledge on the older rangers. People here do too but the other site is a very good source :)

Welcome to the site my man. Hope you figure out your problem (and maybe add some punctuation to some future posts).

Just a little jab.
