New in Kansas
Just picked up a 2004 FX4 w31,000 miles, traded a 2004 Blazer LS straight across. Not new to these as I have owned a 1996, 1999, and 2001 Mazda B4000's. Mine is black, step side, all decals removed, added a Leer topper, planning on cranking the t-bars, installing 265/75/16's, and trying to fabricate inboard headlight mounts in the grille. I don't want to glue them to the grille, I am going to find some older brackets, maybe 68 ford full size, and install behind grille, cut out the grille and add surrounds like on a 67-68 shelby. That way the lights would be fully adjustable. My only concern is air flow. Other than that, I will just drive the truck for a few years and enjoy it. I live in south central Kansas and make a few trips to Wyoming each year and really like driving the little truck out there.
After reading a lot of posts on here, you guys are a knowledgeable bunch with some great ideas on just about everything pertaining to the ranger.
