Hey guys, new to the Forum here.
I just recently purchased a new to me Ranger. I've wanted one for a few years now, and finally got the chance to get one.
It's a 2001 Ranger XLT 3.0 4x4 Automatic, red in color. I have to say, it's a pretty nice looking truck. I haven't got to spend much time in it yet, but I think I'll like it just fine.
I'm coming from driving an 01 Blazer for the past four years, so I'm looking forward to the change. I never was a fan of the Blazers, and really wanted a Ranger pick up when I bought it. The price was right at the time (just out of college, broker than a joke). So I had to put the Ranger off a few years.
It's not my first Ford, or first Ranger for that matter. I at one time had an 88 Model Ranger, I can't really remember the details of it. It was just a beater truck, took it 4-wheeling all the time, had a great time with it. I've also owned a Mustang at one time, and it was probably the most reliable car I ever owned. I'm hoping that my new Ford is as reliable as the car was.
Anyway.... glad to be here, glad to have the new to me truck that I've been wanting for a while. Hope to have some good times with it, and keep it for quite a long while.
