Hi,

Just got a 2007 XL 3.0L with a manual trans. It runs good but every is factory original i.e.... plugs, wires, hoses..... Looking for wisdom on plug wires.

Hi all,

I got a ton of info off this site. I'm getting my 07 ready for daily use and to set a baseline for parts that could fail in the near future. With 75K on it I got the following parts:

K&N air filter
Motorcraft oil filter, plugs, wires, thermostat, cam synchronizer with sensor, crank position sensor and fuel filter
Mobile 1 5/20 oil, Mobile 1 trans oil and Mobile 1 rear end oil
All new coolant hoses & clamps
MAF sensor cleaner
Throttle bobby cleaner for IAC and throttle body
Fan belt

I live in the Mojave desert and its a very long walk to anywhere if you break down and zero cell phone coverage.

Did I forget anything for a major tune up or that could make me critter bate in the middle of west hell??
