First dumb question. See people post about a pre-runner. What does that mean?

 

Welcome to R-F! A prerunner is a truck which is designed to have a longer travel front suspension to allow them to better handle fast off road driving. Or at least that's the best I can explain it.

 

Well, got my hands on an awesome 06 Ranger extended cab. Most excellent cond. inside and out. This is nothing like my 70'. I do have 88k miles. Is anyone running synthetic at this point? If so, do you use motorcraft or another label? Same on filter?

I use valvoline synthetic blend and a k&n oil filter. My truck has 100k on the odometer
