My name is Kevin and this is my first truck. My son Cole turned sixteen last September but has been dragging his feet in getting his license. When we pressed him as to why... he said, since his mother and I work a lot cars are never home so what's the point.

I was not really interested in just buying him a vehicle. So, we decided to get a truck so I could stop borrowing one from the neighbor and have a third vehicle available for Cole to drive. The idea was to have something that we could work on together and make into something he'd like to roll around town in.

So far we've gotten some great ideas on what we could do with the truck from the site and some great information on DIY projects for maintaining the truck as well. We will look forward to more help and feedback as we move along. I will look forward to the father/son time!
