I recently joined after i discovered this forum while searching for info on Auto to Manual swap. I recently purchased my first Ranger. Green 99 Ranger 3.0 4WD. I bought it from Richie Brothers Auction a few months ago. 95k miles, well taken care off, minus the reverse band in trans being broke. sad day, but winning the bid at $900 i figure i was still doing alright. -I obviously didn't know about the reverse failure during bid-
I now have a 5speed installed -big shout out to the other members who had threads on this swap.

Anywhooo I just wanted to introduce myself. I live in auburn Washington, if there are any other locals in my area feel free to reach out. Id love to have some ranger buddies, plus im damn good with wrenches when yall need another hand.

How did your swap end up turning out?? Sounds similar to my situation, auto is going bad and in a week or two going to swap! Curious how yours went. Also what did you do with your old auto trans lol? Trying to figure out what to do with the giant paper weight once it's out. Manage to sell it?

Will be moving out to your neck of the woods from the east coast in a couple months. How's the weather out there lol?
