Hello Ranger people. I've been a Ranger owner since my first car in 1989 - two Rangers and a Mazda/Ranger. I now have a 2000 4x2 that I drove like mad for about 5 years. I moved to Athens Georgia 3 years ago and, being broke, my wife and I could not insure two vehicles. We just sold our Honda Civic and now I'm getting the Ranger back up and running. Today I'm going to drain the old gas out of the tank - (it's 92 outside, I must love to suffer). the problem is I can't get a syphon pump past the bend where the metal pipe meets rubber. Any ideas what should be my next move?
