I've been lurking around here for about 2 months now, just kind of reading over a lot of stuff and determining what I want to do to my ranger.
My name is Ryan and I'm from Clyde, Ohio. I'm 18, freshman in college. I've been around Ranger's almost my entire life. My dad got his 1996 Ranger XLT when I was 5 years old, and he's had it since.
I've been through 2 ranger, I'm on my third.. I guess you could say I don't have good luck with them lol :). Anyways, my current ranger is a 1999 XLT 4x4 Offroad, 4.0l ohv, 5-speed manual, 4.10s, BF Goodrich Rugged Trails. It's completely stock; until I get some money! I want to get a cold-air intake, and put headers on him. Of course, that will be a while down the road since I have so much college debt as of now, though it won't be a problem in the future:)
This is my truck, I named him Rutherford!

I'll have to get some new pictures, as my phone just isn't cutting it as a camera, lol.

I know, lol. Well, I guess I'll let you guys know about my other trucks :(.
My first truck was a 1993 Ranger XLT, 2.3l, 5-speed manual. I had it almost 2 years. I was on my way to work, stopped at a red light at an intersection of a major highway in my town. Light turned green, I started to go. A semi truck ran the red light and t-boned my truck. It broke my pelvis in half, 5 hip fractures, and a broken rib. Doctor's said I was lucky to be alive, let alone standing up and walking again. That was February 26th of this year. After I was rehabilitated and what not, my parents set out to get me another truck.
This time I got a 1999 Ranger XLT, 4.0l 4x4 offroad, 5-speed manual, almost EXACTLY the same as one I got now, except it was short bed, and gray. Well, on June 28th I was going too fast around a turn on a state route (sr19) and my rear tires hit some loose stone. I went off the road a bit and when my front tires dug into the dirt, the momentum of the rear went over and I rolled about 100 feet down the road. I'm not sure how many times I rolled, but it was quite a bit.
These are the pictures of my '93 after the semi:

This is my left hip. 2 metal plates and 19 screws later:

And this is my other '99 after the roll. Both trucks were totaled:

Luckily when I rolled my truck, I just got a nice cut on my right leg, which I got stitched and taken care of.
