Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'm taking pics today and will post them later...I promise. I'm thinking of doing a paint job myself, keeping the black but going metallic. Any suggestions? But that will have to wait till after I build my bench seat for the back. I'm taking out the jumper seats and building a bench seat with storage underneath and shoulder seat belts or maybe 4 point harnesses for the kids. Any opinions? Thanks all.

If you have the skills to do the paint job yourself do it, and yes, go metallic.

The bench seat will be a tight squeeze for anyone riding back there.

Ok boys, settle down, I got pics for ya right here. Not the best, but I hope they will do. It was too cold to put a bathing suit on and jump on my hood, sorry.

I've never painted a car before, but I've used a spray gun lots of times. I'm going to outsource all the sanding & prep I think. As for the back seat, only my kids will be in it so I'm not too worried about room...they're tiny.

You're a good lookin girl.

Make sure you get a spray booth to paint. I painted my F250 in my dads shop and it was a nightmare, bugs would not leave the truck alone. Next time I'm gonna use a paint nooth

Actually I have a lot of plans for the truck, but first is increase my mpg< fixing the engine leak & trans leak. I just discovered them yesterday & I'm not too happy. But what can I expect for a truck that old with that many miles on it. It needs a new exhaust too. I gotta put new shocks on it too.

Plenty of fish? Too funny, are you on there?

Don't tempt me, I'd love to come to California hun.

Yes, I'm a mom and thank you very much. I stay busy, giving massages is pretty much a workout. I basically do lunges and work my arms for an hour straight with a 5 min break and then back at it again.

I'd say yes, but Missouri is too far for me to travel.

California is gorgeous and warm...so unlike MI, lol. Well, some places are gorgeous here too, but rarely warm.
