New to the Ranger World
Well I just bought a 85 Ranger 2wd auto. Paid $650. When I say just bought, I mean I just got the truck home about 20 mins ago. New to the Ford world. Hoping for a decent little truck to just get around town in. Plan to drop it and maybe if I ever finish one of my other cars I'll do a V8 swap. The truck has 130k miles on it. Not to sure if I got a good deal or not as the truck seems weak. Not just as no horsepower, but a weak motor. Guess I'll found out soon enough.
yea in 85 the 2.9 v6 sucked and the 4cyl wasnt great
side story, the guy i sold my 99 maz b2500 to used to have an 02 4.0 ranger ... complained that mine was "weak" and im like well yeah its a 4cyl ... good gas miles though!
