New to the site, but not to Rangers

Hello guys,

Just a quick message. New to this site and wish I had found it earlier. I think you guys may have fixed a problem I am having with my check engine light. Seems I have that infamous vacuum leak on that 90 degree elbow. To bad I didnt find it earlier. After replacing the MAF and IAC valve, I find you guys and it seems that this would be a LOT cheaper way to go. I will see what hapens in the morning when the local Ford dealer opens. After this mishap I decided I would have to join. So thanks in advance for the help and I will let you know how the elbow replacement helps the codes its throwing. Funny thing , I couldn't find it 6 months ago, as it gradually got worse and I got more frustrated it finally made a loud enough sucking noise that I was able to find it. So....thanks again for the tip and keep your fingers crossed that this is my fix!

I will warn you guys now, you can look forward to more stupid questions from me in the near future. LOL

Mike
