Howdy Ranger-Forums!

Name is Matt and I am a 22 yr old Finance Major at USF. Ive been into cars since I was like 15 owning a few DSMs and some honduhs. I've always had a little thing for trucks and a week ago became the proud owner of an 04 Ranger Edge 2wd. Eventually I will get some pictures up, just imagine a stock torch red with dual exhaust.

I look forward to getting to know you all and picking your brains a bit!

welcome Matt. Im originally form Tampa, the Carrollwood area but now I go to UCF. There is a lifted blue ranger who goes to USF as well. Maybe if you lift we can all do a lil offroading.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Im not planning any mods that are too extensive. The first thing I am thinking about are some rims and tires once the tires on there now are shot. And after doing some reading maybe trying to find an explorer ohc.

So I went "off-roading" for the first time today, just some trails that really ran to no where but it was a taste and I can definitely say that I want more! There was some nice mud but I wasn't ready to try and make it through being on the stock tires and what not. Time to start saving money for tires and a lift!

well matt you need help with any of that we have plenty of florida members who have done those things.

If you want an ohc let me know i can get you one for a decent price.

welcome. i dont own a ranger....but live in lakeland. im always over in tampa. every fri night im over in riverview at the lowes. they got trucks n **** out there. btw i have never owned a ranger but damn sure done enough work on them. i use to be the one that did all the meets for fl. but work dont allow me anymore to do it
