New From TN
Hello Ranger fans,
I have 94 XLT I inherited from my Dad. Its a little 2.3L 4 banger with 122K. Runs great but I really don't have anything to compare it too. I've got a couple of things to resolve on it like Check Engine light and throwing some codes 211, 218, 223, and 224. Plus the brake light and the ABS lights are on. And only showing half the tach rate.
I've changed the plugs and wires and give it a dose of SeaFoam plus a tank of 93 octane gas. It starts immediately and idles smooth. I am normally going to be pulling a single axle trailer with a Scag 48" commercial mower riding along. So I'm looking to make sure I can get every horse I can out of this truck.
I hope to offer some insight with my experience with this Ranger but more so I hope to benefit from the vast knowledge of Rangers owners and their experiences with this vehicle and some of Ford's better ideas.
Mike
