New to Trucks all together

I just picked up a 2001 Mazda B3000 single cab Dual Sport from a friend at a price I couldn't pass up. I was originally looking for an econobox to get around in since I just sold my Z28. Gas prices were kickin my ***. Anyway, this is my first truck and I'm wanting to know what I can do to increase performance out of the little 3.0L. The only thing it has is a K&N FIPK. I'm used to driving V8 cars, so this is definitely new territory for me. This is has been a very fun truck so far. Keep up the great work on the site.

Basically similar to my first Ranger which was also a 2001 single cab.

The standard stuff applies: intake, exhaust, other breathing mods (MAF mod, TB half-shafting) and so forth. Also, a flash tuner.

My 3.0 is not and never has been fast. However, the changes make it more pleasant to drive and help it have enough power offroad.

Howdy & Welcome! You can get an intake, tuner exhaust and pulleys for more power.

Thanks guys! I've come to notice in the recent few weeks I've had this truck that mileage is not all that great, but considering what I just got out of, it's definitely a step up. As far as pics, I'll try and shoot a few this weekend, but really the truck is stock except the tint and removal of all the decals on it. I'm not and never have been a fan of stickers. As far as the performance of the truck, what are the cheap/free mods I can do that I will see/feel an increase with? By the way, my truck is throwing a code that says egr low flow, and I've already replaced the egr valve, dpfe sensor, and the vacuum solenoid. Suppose it's time to yank the TB and clean the crap out of it? On a side note, anyone know what the offset is on my factory rims? Thanks again everyone!
