New from TX
Hey guys,
I bought a 97 Ranger 2.3 4 banger for my son's 1st truck from a pastor at a church and I think he stuck it to me. I didn't have the truck a month and the timing belt broke, which upon getting that repaired I discovered I had 1 cylinder losing compression, which turned into a valve job, which turned into 3 cracks in my heads. I now have spent more to fix the truck than I paid for the truck in the first place. I then brought it down to get an oil change and when the guy topped my levels he appatrently put too much fluid in my clutch reservoir because my clutch quit working and stranded me. i took tthe cap off of the clutch reservoir and I guess it relieved the pressure and my clutch stated working again. I t looks like my levels were right but I sucked some out anyway down to where the rubber insert just touches it. Does anyone know how full it should be and would that cause the clutch to not disengage. I hope this is all that goes wrong on this truck because my son really likles it but I xcant see putting anymore money in it.
Thanks!

welcome and holly **** you have had problems. there should be a line on the reservoir for min and max... but you shouldnt ever have to add any to it unless you have a leak in the system. same with brakes
