hey yall, new guy from el paso. my names Jordan, all my truck info in my bio is there cause it made me fill it out to register. currently driving an 07 ram 2500. fully built by industrial injection, ats, yada yada. figured I would introduce myself and get things rolling. I'm going to be lurking here for a while before I purchase a toy truck to build, so I can find out as much as possible and have a build sheet already done, saving all of time by not asking stupid questions easily answered by the search function. plans for within the next year:
start off with getting a car hauler, 16-18 ft tandem axle
search locally for junkyard truck, as long as cab forward of frame is straight, running is always nice.
full build, starting small and working up to full retard build slowly, as my toy fund allows. looking at 64" chevy swapped rear leafs, probably build my own till I find what I like. shackle flip
extended beams up front, possibly f150 to start, working towards 6-8 over
coils and smoothies all the way around
bed cage to start, something I can simply add to when I can cage front to rear
bye bye coil buckets, hello coilovers
exploder 8.8 from 95+, probably weld diff cause its cheap and I can weld
extra 8.8 for when it explodes from being welded
get current motor running if able to do so for cheap, if not build suspension while sourcing SBF/SBC and manual trans.
