Newb Intro

Hello - I'm Jerry. I joined this forum because I'm trying to keep my son's 2006 2wd, 3.0 extended cab Ranger alive. At 175,000 miles, it has a couple issues. He's in college, and so short of funds. I'll probably make it my daily driver for the couple years he'll be away.

I'll post any questions separately, but I would like to know how to tell an XL from an XLT from a whatever? There are no badges on this truck to identify it.

Xlt typically had chrome bumpers, and would say xlt underneath the "ranger" on the fender badge. If you post a pic, it'd be even easier to tell

Here's a picture of it. It's a pretty basic truck, I'm pretty sure it's not an XLT:
cloth seats
blacked out grill, chrome bumper though
all manual windows, door locks, etc.
3.0, automatic

Guess I need to learn how to insert a photo. That photo is plenty large to show up normally.
