Newbe to the Ford Ranger Forum
Just want to say hi, I'm Lee and for the last 8 years I've been playin with my '96 Ford Ranger doing some mods and upgrades and the regular maintenance and repairs myself or at my favorite shop.
There's alot that I still want to do with my lil Ranger such as swap out the fleet side bed for a stepside and widen the fenders on it for the 15"x12"x 4" reversed rims and not get a "fix-it-ticket" as I did with the 15"x10"x 4", which I had to fabricate a pair of skirts and attach a set of mud flaps. Looks good, but I wasn't very happy at the time for damn sure.
The other is a upgrade to a '08-'10 Duratec 2.3 and go through it and give it a "Cosworth Face lift" and then a Garrett T-3 / 4 turbo. And no I'm not building a track truck, just a modern day hot rod with a taste ol school style and a lot of "Highwayblity", (I know it's not a real word). Anyway still have to locate a donor engine and ECU and compleate wire loom and whatever else. Meantime I'm doing my homework on both of these projects.
So any leads on these parts would be great and I'll do my best to be a contributor to this site with my knowledge and skills, Lates.................
