Hello All, just joined with a 93 Ext cab 4x4 4.0 owned since '94 and having a problem with my cruise control that doesn't work at all. Any help out there?

Here's what I've tried so far: cleaned the contacts on the switches in the horn assembly, tried a different control module, (Located above the glove box door), found a disconnected vacuum line behind the master brake cylinder boost that connects to the vacuum manifold at rear top of engine. I've viewed the plate of plastic that is mounted above the brake light switch on the brake pedal arm that I imagine opens and closes a vacuum switch related to the cruise control system. Nothing I've touched has helped to this point. Vehicle does not have the disconnect switch mounted on the Bendix master brake cylinder that everyone has tried to sell me. I do have a three wire electrical connection on the bottom of the brake fluid reservoir that feeds into a main wiring harness. I'm stumped in where to go from here.
