Hello, I inherited my Dad's 2000 Ford Ranger several years ago. He put 55K miles on it & I've added another 79K. Time to get rid of one extra vehicle & I decided I should keep the Ranger. Im 62 & retired last year so this may be my last vehicle, depending on how well I take care of it. Not wanting a new car payment anytime soon. Mainly here to read learn. I commuted in a little beater car that got 32 mpg, 65 miles a day so I only drove the Ranger enough to keep the battery charged. I now drive about 5K miles a year instead of 20K so I don't mind 17 mpg so much. I'll be driving the Ranger more once I sell the car, hopefully soon.
