Simwizzard here, 2001 XLT 4x4, 4.0 SOHC, 5 spd auto, extended cab.
140K on it and a coolant leak I can't find. Also rattles like crazy, probably chain tensioners, but not sure.

 

First.. welcome to R-F.

Second.. give us a little more info. What have you checked as far as the leak goes.. where are you seeing fluid?

Third, that year the 4.0L SOHC had a known problem with the cam chain tensioners. If you search on here there is a lot of info about it.
