Noob In Pro Football Hall Of Fame City

Nooby here with greetings from Canton, Ohio!!! Just got our 2006 Ranger XL 2 weeks ago and we love it!! It's my wife's truck (in-name-only), but I would like to do some modds soon. The wheels have to be changed asap and I would like to know how big I can go on this 2wd, stock height (for now) plain-Jane automobile. Also, what are some common modds done to these trucks? Any help, direction, guidance, insight, advice, greetings, and salutations would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site! Tires you can fit 31's, wheels you could fit as big as probably 22's if thats what your talking about. But I think you meant tires. And this is a good thread for mods.

Hey man! Welcome from a fellow Northeast Ohioian!! I live in Tallmadge. If you see a red 2000 standard cab Ranger around on 31s with a www.Ranger-forums.com sticker on the windshield it's probably me :) My buddy lives down the street from the Hall of Fame so I am in the area sometimes.

Thanx for the info and advice on the mod thread, Adam. I do want bigger wheels than the stock 15s that are on it. So, I guess what I'm asking is how wide and how tall? I noticed while driving it tonight that the front seems to be a bit floaty when cruising on the highway. I'm thinking about new shocks/struts...might as well do a lift! :) Any ideas? By the way it has the 3.0 V6. I'm also thinking of a CAI and maybe a chip. Anybody ever do this?
