Not Really new, but finally picked up a ranger
My Names Ryan, I've been a long time lurker. I finally picked up a 98 regular cab long bed with 132,000 miles after a long search Monday to keep miles off my 2011 Silverado
.
It was wrecked previously. The po replaced the header panel, grille, headlights/corners, radiator and a couple a/c componets,. I had to replaced the airbags, airbag control module, and had new rotors put on(old ones were beyond warped).
I payed way too much for it, but I was tired of looking. But its has almost new tires and passed inspection after I replaced the airbags. I've got a total of $2000 in it.
Future plans:
-fix the blend door(its stuck to full heat)
-Paint the hood
-try to fix the grille alignment(core support is tweaked)
-Replace the bench seat(drivers side has seen better days)

Probably 6 months. Literally every Ranger/B-series or Focus that I was pretty sure I'd be driving home would be sold before I could get there.
btw thats how it is around here. I bought my truck after it had been for sale for 3 hours lol. Literally ran to the bank and went straight to the guy to get it...
