Obligatory introduction
Hey all,
Way back in 2011 after they discontinued the ranger I shopped around and found one of the few remaining new 2011 XLT 4x4's and snapped it up. It has up until now mostly been an around the property truck or a motorcycle hauler.
My wife has recently expressed more of an interest in getting out with me and so after gazing lustfully at a few international harvester scouts and a disco or two I've decided the practical thing to do is take the great truck I already own and enhance it. Of course that led me here.
So, any advice is always welcome. Hopefully I won't ask too many easy questions over the next couple of months. Glad to be a part of the forum and excited to start working.

If your wife will let you have a wench, I'd say go for it. But a winch is more practical for an off road truck.
