Greetings All!

In spite of looking to buy a used pick-up at the worst time in automotive history price wise, I managed to score a '01 Mazda B3000 Regular Cab Dual Sport for under $2k! Only 133k on her and no body rust or dents. There's a few things needing attention, but I'm pretty happy with my purchase! The prior owner said it was a Florida car before he had it, and it's been (garage kept) in upstate NY for the last 10 years.

What it's got: 3.0 l, 5 sp manual, cold air, good tires, tow package, cruise control, electric mirrors & windows, am/fm/cassette/cd, new brakes & brake lines all around, bed liner & cover, no CELs (fingers crossed, I've only driven it about 100 miles!).

What it needs: Rubber clutch inspection hole plug, new serpentine belt maybe an idler too (squeals when cold), rust converter sprayed on frame, dash cluster doesn't light up, air bag light does light up (flashes 4 then 7 times... need to check plug under seat, I think), steering wheel wrap (it's ugly right now), the plastic over the cruise control buttons needs replacement (or some kind of custom fix), door window check... they seem to not seal very well at the top, possible light main seal leak (I've had success with Barr's Stop Leak in the past), and a "Dual Sport" decal for the driver's side rear.

My son and I cleaned her up a bit and took some photos (attached). We're both quite pleased.

Thanks to the forum for being here... I'll contribute what I can.
Regards,
Bob
