Hi Guys,

I'm from seattle, the proud owner of a new to me '83 ranger. The guy I bought it from says it has the '2.3L turbo' however I have no idea how to verify this at this point.

I got the truck mainly to assist with my sailboat restoration work - otherwise I'm a bus commuter to work and so on.

It's a nice little truck, I'm happy with it, but it does need some tuning. I am in the process of educating myself about this and probably the first thing I want to do is take a look at the carb, it has the choke disabled and the truck runs really rich, lots of knocking when I turn it off and sucks up gas at an alarming rate.
