recently aquired a 89 Ranger SuperCab 4x4 2.9L as my winter vehicle...decided to spend money on that instead of a g note or more for snows for my 2010 Camaro. I will post pics later this week when i have my rhyno bar and bfg 31s on it....name...Ranger Joe...or Bob's Road since this will be a chase vehicle for my Storm Chasing organization.

That's a beautiful car, love the color.

 

why thank you....yeah i decided to preserve that wonderful color and save it from a full winter...i bought it in January but we had a rather bleak winter here and my car was able to make it...there were a few storms i got a ride into work...but mostly driveable conditions.....this winter im not taking ANY chances...friend of mine lost his job and sold me his ranger with a 4in lift for 650 bucks...a new battery...new license plate lights and a set of gas tank straps and she'll be ready for inspection....along with the axle shaft swap...ill need to do a rear main seal...change a brake line in the rear since when they lifted the truck they didnt swap it out so its gettin stretched pretty bad...a couple of interior ***** for lights and such and thatll be it.....friend of mine with a 91 gave me a set of bfg 31s and a rhyno bar for 100 bucks...the tires on her now...*shakes head* lol
