My dad's been running this rig around town since brand new (2009 model -- very low mileage -- (something like 60,000 km).
Anyway, he's decided to let go of the camper now that he's turning 70 this year and my mom's not in good health -- so I thought I'd post this here since he does get a lot of ooh's and aaahs when he's out camping or around town with this thing on his Ranger -- because as you all probably know they just don't make campers like this.
My dad's dad (my grandfather) hand-built this camper originally, referencing factory specs (just changed the sizes a bit smaller to fit his Dodge Dakota) and my dad's been using it for about 10 years on his '09 2x4 Ranger with overload springs. Comes in pretty light around 475kg, just over 1000lbs. Has a working fridge, stove, and heater.
Since Dad's letting it go I thought I'd sign up here and post these pics for posterity -- or if anyone is interested in the camper setup, hit me up.
