'Sup, eh?

Well, I bought myself a 2009 Ranger 4x4 about six months ago. I was actually looking for a used Ranger at the time, but the new ones were cheaper than the used ones - and I could also get the truck equipped the way I wanted! That was a nice bonus...

I'm in Vancouver, BC (actually, out in the Valley, but I doubt anyone knows anything other than Vancouver...) and dropped by to figure out how to take the a-pillar trim off without breaking it. Gotta get around to installing my old deck that has bluetooth capability and didn't want to break anything on my new truck. I don't wanna break my new truck...

Thankfully it looks like it's a couple screws and it pops off. Never hurts to make sure...

If they haven't changed anything since 04, then it's just removing the "oh-sh**" handle, just 2 screws, then the trim just pops off, only held by a few clips. Pretty easy.

Yeah, that's what I read in another thread here; all I have to do now is find that damn microphone. I'm going to mount the microphone on the a-pillar so it's not in the way of the sun visor. Eventually I'll get around to putting all my equipment in it, but the headunit and bluetooth stuff has to go in first!

The mic I have sucks, it'll be too far away on top of the steering column. I had it there in my last car and it didn't work too well, hence me locating it much higher.
