2003 ranger

 

I have a 2003 3.0 ranger I notice the plug wiring not correct but it starts and runs with a missed, I try changing the plug wire to the correct locating and it would not start at all. like to know why the wires are in this order

from front of the coil pack to the back
5 2
6 1
4 3
if I put them the way the diagram show
3 4
2 6
1 5
the engine will not start

 

3-4 2-5 1-6 on the coil pack and it will start but has a missed, when I change it to 3-4 2-6 1-5 it will not start a all
