Taking on a new project
Hi everyone,
Tom from Monroe NJ here. I grew up with a Dad who spent his weekends at car shows displaying his 82 fox body with a 302 swap, dragging me to swap meets and the like. Honestly never considered myself a car guy or gear head, but I’ve always loved Rangers. Had a bare bones Edge right out of high school, then upgraded to a fully loaded Tremor after the Edge got totaled. Tremor is long gone (always regret not hanging on to it).
I now have a 1998 2WD 2.3L RCLB that I bought from a neighbor, very clean and have done a good amount of work to it. Historic plates so it never gets inspected again. Just bought a 97 Explorer 5.0L and planning to do an engine swap and convert to a 5 speed by way of a modified T5. On the forums to get information come all those that have gone down this path before me. Looking forward to making some friends along the way.
