I dug out the 14 year old payment book and ran a carfax on my old VIN.

Someone in Jamestown, LA tell the guy driving the Vermillion red ranger that as far as I know could very well still have white stripes, that I want my truck back! :)

Also, since it has not been registered since '06 if you see it wrecked in someone's yard, let me know LOL!

thats pretty cool that you still have all that stuff. My 95 bronco i had came with a fraction of the stuff you have but i was still surprised, all the other used vehicles i've had never even had an owners manual.

E4= win

It's almost as good as having the truck itself when you look back at it. :) There is something special about buying a truck new. I've had 12+ rangers and that one was the first new one (85.5 was bought 6 months earlier, technically my 1st ranger) but none of the 12+ 97's behind it have been near as close to me as the one I have all the stuff on. It's like a birth certificate and being there from the start. :D

I hope mine looks even better in ten years. I intend to do some "smart" cleaning this week such as removing the bed, pressure washing the frame and underside of the bed and rust proofing so it will last me. :) I waited 14 years for it, I intended to keep it for 14 more. :)

X5's are very hit or miss. Some are the worst thing on the planet, and some are die hard old German war machines. Most are a pain in the *** due to German electrical. Mine is a trooper, thank goodness. Love it. When you get a good one and don't have to worry about issues there is nothing as great IMO. Sexy as hell inside, FAST 300hp/325ft lb tq, and handles like a sports car on it's air ride suspension. :)

There's nothing not to love with this interior.

I hope I am wrong, but I don't think your mom will be happy with very many things out there in comparison. Having some seat time in an X5 will ruin you for life on other vehicles :).

Anytime you get any original paperwork with the truck it is great. I bought a few owners manuals for a few of my rangers and it didn't feel the same as having it come with the truck. There is a level of emotion that comes with a new truck, beside it just being new. It's like watching it be born and grow up as you put miles on it over the years.
