im from ft Lauderdale my self but located in North Carolina now but sure dont miss the traffic there lol

Either a 1000 or 2500 is what I want to get soon, I was just messing around tho I've got some other stuff I need to buy first.

IDK if you fish offshore but a 2500 or smaller stradic spooled with powerpro is the most fun yellowtail reel ever.
