hello there. i just ordered my 08. i get it in aprox. 8 weeks, maybe sooner if the factory can push it a little quicker down the assembly line.
it's an 08 xlt 4x4. vista blue, medium dark flint cloth, 5speed, with the 16" twin spoke rims. the only optons i ordered are the sliding window and the 3.73 limited slip gears.
actually if you get a hold of a canadian brochure, it's the same one that's on the "upgrades page. i'll post up some pics of when i get it.
as for plans, i'd like to get a 4" susp. lift and some 33"s in a year or two. i'd also like to see what performance options are available to me.
this isn't my first truck. i had an 85 bronco w/35's and a 6" lift (body and susp). however, i owned that about 8 years ago now. i'm coming from a 91 golf gl to this so it should be interesting. i'm stoked and nervous as it's a big purchase for me (or anyone for that matter). i'll use the search as much as possible and it seams that you guys are pretty helpfull as well.

i didn't want 4:10s since 'm not going any bigger then 33s. and that is in a couple years when some of it's paid off. as for right now, yea, i can monitor my engine speed better w/ a manual. but i didn't want my rpms to be as high up as they would be with 4:10s. and 3:55 was jsut too low for off the line performance. so 3:73s it was.
