Ya the blinker light actually has a positive runnning to it a negative then aninteruptor wich is negativeley charged so it dosent really blink as much as it does just interupt through the relay

hard to explain but its easily doable
if you did the blinker mod then you had 2 solid color wires then a wire with a color then a stripe thats the interuptor so basically u just connect that to the black wire but no the one that is running to the truck otherwise you'll cause a short i can get pics and show you if you want just pm me and ill show u pics of what i mean but all together very easy to do

I have these taillights and it comes with an extra bulb and wire but I have never wired it up. Will get to it one day, you can just pull the bulbs from your existing and put them into the new housing and they will work just like your tails do now with an extra bulb.

I have the clear altezza with 3 bulbs and a reflector. Mine are carbon fiber housing. I got them as a present a few years ago but I believe they were about 80 on ebay.

just so you all know, i got the tail lights. Successfully added a 3rd light (as a braking only). I'm planning on starting the write up tmrw, got tons of pics. Only problem is the tail lights i got were ****. i couldnt get them to line up properly and one of them broke while screwing it in, ****ing cheap plastic. Hopefully these were just defective, but i somehow doubt it, we'll see wen i get the new ones.

Edit: Oh yeah....Hey Steve, would you mind uploading a new avatar for me. A long while back we downsized avatars when we changed forum formats. We're told to delete 'em when we see 'em but I like to be nice and ask. lol.

Well the way I have it set up on the tails its:

        1-Reverse
        2-Brake Only
        3-Turn/Brake/Running

But yea, basically what you said lol. The way I figured it, I'd make the 3rd one a brake light so it'd grab peoples attention at a little more since it practically blinds you lol.

And I'll change the avatar for you once I get home if you don't mind.

Cool.....I got ya. Would you mind taking a pic of one of your tails as they are right now for me? And posting it up in 1024. I got an idea to make the how-to a little more clear as to what exactly was accomplished. Sorta like this:

        Name: P8270113.jpg
Views: 2262
Size: 117.8 KB
**I just sorta tossed this together

Not a problem on the avatar. If you just reup the one you've got now, it'll auto-resize to the new size limits.
