Do you mean like this?

I've been thinking of putting something on my Mazda like that instead of the regular DRL bulbs. Walmart here has a pair of 28" strips that you can cut to fit and stick on using 3M double sided tape for $28.

op don't do it. it looks stupid. I saw a F-150 today that had some and the lights in those is virtually the same and it looked wicked dumb. also, unless theyre mounted so they arent sitting on the bottom i dont think it will look good. see how the audi's are not just flat on the bottom. in adam's case it might look good due to the swooping look of the mazda lights.

yeah like that!

my friend just gave me this link, i'm gonna give them a try.
and i persoanlly think it'll look awesome. im going to try and get a curve on one side on the headlights.
like a bottom line and then 3 or inches up on the insides of the headlights or somethin like that. we'll see.
do you guys think i'll need projectors to make them more noticeable though?

Do you have stock headlights? Cause if you do its gonna be extremely out of place. Maybe with projectors or even crappy ebay halos.

don't do it. audi's LEDs are high quality that's why they look good. if you do them yourself it'll wind up looking like those P.O.S. Chrysler 200s.

if a headlight is designed to have LED accenting lights it will, like an audi or a high end car. all these low end cars with them look like garbage. my neighbors got that 200, the headlights look so cheap

The problem with doing this is on our Rangers or anything else really, is the fact that there isn't much of a place for them to go while still being attractive. Plus, the money people are willing to spend won't get them the very high quality the Audi lamps are. Generally, the LEDs people do do, are cheap and affordable.....and the output is lacking greatly from what they're trying to copy.

If there was an affordable way to make these work on a Ranger, believe me, I'd run them. But at this point, the options available at the price I'd be willing to pay, with the output I want....just don't exist.

What's that LED guy that used to be on here all the time? I'm sure he would have some ideas about this...
