Center Console and fiberglass

I made a center console a couple weeks ago to hold my CB and gauge for my air horns, and i liked the concept but not happy so guess wat...makin a new one..

the old one is made of MDF and Lexan..not happy...so im gunna fiberglass it..ill post pics as i go and junk..but anybody worked with fiberglass b4 and might have some pointers to help me get this done..

tomorrow im plannin to make a mold of clay to make the CB and gauge mount..

im gunna make it slope it so the gauge and CB are comin out of the console..

thats all im gunna tell u guys now cuz i got somethin up my sleeve and if it works its gunna be awsome...

how did you get such a high gloss? is that pretty much two pieces of mdf cut to shape and then glassed in between?

i really need my cb back and i dont like drilling holes in my interior.
