as of the moemt, i have the chromed b bar grille on my 2006....i really like the 04-05 grilles with the chrome surround and honeycomb on the inside....should i, or not, i just like the full honeycomb....

if yes, then is anyone willing to trade even?

Scott...you got a certifit near you... New replacement grilles for 04+'s are like $40 or $50. CHEAP!! Need to get a OEM emblem for it though. But that's no biggie. I'd have like 3 grilles to play with....your stocker, a 04-05 Edge/Fx4L2(painted outer ring), 04-05 XLT(chrome outer ring). Me personally...I want a 08+ red XLT...so If I were to get one, I'd be keeping that same grilleyou've got.

I have the same bumper as you, and am thinking about getting the grille that you have.

When you get a chance, could you take a pic of your truck from straight on so I can see how it looks from that angle?

 

 

I swear all you 06+ guys **** me off. I had my mint 04-05 grille for sale/trade for an 06+ grille forever and no one wanted it. Then as soon as I spent the money on the 06+ grille and just about gave away my 04-05 grille everyone comes out of the wood work wanting the old style grille. Now that I found an 06+ style bumper and bought it, everyone will decide they want an 04-05 style bumper and want to trade.

 

i do want an 04-05 bumper....really!

I like my 04 front end the 06+ seems like it would be easy to brake if something hit it.
