Alright, so the driver and passenger seat on a swivel (180 deg turn),take out the back seats. Then install a flat screen drop down from the roof (19in).Turn the seats around and drop down the tv and play some games or watch a movie. Idk, just an idea i had for awhile. What you all think?

May not turn all the way around because of how close they are to the door.

Sounds like something you'd see on "Pimp My Ride". IDK about how practical it would be, but it would look cool if it was pulled off.

Well...the new Dodge Caravan has swivel seats....try looking into how they work...maybe grab some when some soccer mom wrecks her mom-mobile and it ends up in the JY? MAYBE you'll get lucky and be able to fab those in? About the TV....I dunno...But I've been thinking about hard-wiring an inverter from the batt to the cab/box....You'll need to do something like that, too. I'll be watching this thread with interest!

The have drop down TVs that are on a 12-volt system. Now if you wanted to put a game system in there you would need a inverter.

Also gotta look at how much room you have for your legs when you turn the seats around.Thatll be one cramped gaming experience. Sweet idea though!

ok, did some rough measurments and some bad and good news. I measure the passanger side floor from where the seat ends and the person feet would be in normal driving position, about 23in. So the passanger seat would swival and have about 23in for leg room when turned, just put the seat back all the way to the dash. The problem begins when you go to the drivers side, and the stearing wheel is in the way. The driver seat pushed back to the stearing wheel only leaves about 10 in of leg room when turned around, OUCH. Could either just do the passenger side, or get a nascar stearing wheel and just take it off, lol. Im not giving up on this yet, got a few things to try.

the nascar steering wheel would be kool but u compromise ur own safety. but good idea though if u dont mind taking the risk. and by the way (RCL816) that ought to be the best signature ive seen so far and couldnt agree more.

That would be sweet. Maybe you could just add a cap on the back of the truck and put little sits in the bed.

That would work out better considering you would have more room. And your from Missouri? Shouldnt you be more into the lift nad off road scene? LOL j/k it is a good idea and let me know how it turns out

dont get me wrong, im into lifts. I just thought that this would be a true "custom" mod. I would love to have a lifted truck with 35s and 6in lift. Might be going that route anyways cause i dont think the tv idea will work. Currently iam just trying to get exterior done, head lights, tail lights, tonnaue cover, bull bar, just small details then go with the big mod rather it be lift or tv idea.

sounds cool but

might be difficult with the swivel seats the problems would seem to be how the seats would swivel and what kind of clearance your seats would have and the stability of the seats when you take your Mobile Theater off Road!
but never say never, I wouls send a email to Overhaulin or Pimp my Ride or even the CMT show Pimp my Truck!
Later expecting 3-6 inches of snow here today Whoo Hoo time to Pull idiots with rear whell drive out of the ditches Cha-Ching!

you guys are making me feel old they have had swivel seat for decades in vans and rvs stuff like that you can do it if you want to but you are better off just getting the seats to slide back more and have the tv flip down in the front you dont have to turn 180 to have a tv but if thats what you want then change your seat go to the junk yard i got bada## seats out of a ford probe gt lumbar support with the ele air all working for $25 bucks anything can be done if you have the money
