1994 Ford Explorer?
OK on the way home from work yesterday I passed a Clean as a whistle 1994 FOrd explorer 4 door 4x4. It is a stripped down XL with out even as much as a Center console. I think it is perfect to make into a daily driver/light trail rig. They are asking $2490. I was thinking that I might try offering them 2K in cash and seeing if they take it.
Details:
Grey (Looks like Dark shadow grey but who knows)
4 Door
Automatic
4.0 OHV
Manual 4x4 (Shifter on the floor)
Brand new tires on factory steel wheels
Little over 100K miles (Think it was 108)
TTB front axles (Which means less expensive and difficult lift)
What do you guys think? This thing looks brand new! I can't find a speck of rust on it, there is no way it is a MN rig. I really planned on buying a commuter car, but this just seems like so much possibility.
I might try and buy it on friday.

As far as I ca tell the only options are 4WD, automatic tranny, A/C, Rear window defrost. It doesn't even have a tape deck, just a AM/FM radio. It is a blank slate just ripe for the modding!

Yeah I bought a car last night, The explorer was a Piece once I got behind the wheel. It also had so much bondo under that maaco paint job that the president of Bondo bought his kid a pony. Oh well, I am happier with the roadmaster and if I had the explorer I wouldn't have been able to buy it. Plus I still have the 2000 Explorer.
