Icon14 extended cab long box conversion

hey guys ive been pondering this idea sence i bought my ranger im really considering doing a long box conversion, has anyone attemped this before i seen it done on s10s but no rangers, also i know ill be having to get my drive shaft extended, and also i plan to do a lift how far does the yoke on the tranny come out from stock hight when lifting, should i add this in planing with the drive shaft being built? next i know im gonna have a hard time getting a long box for a 07 ranger does the body lines match up on previous years like the 95? any imputs on my idea would be helpful

Beds are the same from 93(?) up. And you will need to extend your frame.

From: Goodsoil Sask,
many reasons dirt bike in the box barley fits, my m1000 162'' hangs out like 5 feet i have no place to park a trailer in my yard and plus it will look un normal and different from every other ranger that passes me and yea i know im gonna have to extend my frame, i did a 08 dodge mega cab long box conversion 2 years ago at work for a guy it looked awesome

That would be really cool. 2001 + long bed Rangers are rare and 2004+ long bed Rangers are really rare, they were mainly sold as fleet truck to utility companies and they're white 4X4XLs
It shouldn't be too hard finding a 7' long box from a 93-2000 Ranger. (Go with a 98-2000 if you can)

I think it's a great idea. And if you've done this before get on it already.

You can lift a few inches (maybe up to 4, defiantly 2) with zero rear drive shaft problems.

As far as long boxing yeah a 93+ 7ft bed and a frame and d-shaft extension will do it. And obviously lines and hoses and wiring and stuff like that. Also the fuel door, fuel tank, and filler neck would need relocated.
