Ford Letters on Grille and Headlight Change

Was thinking if you guys would think have "FORD" on the grille of a honeycomb style or any style at that would look cool maybe painted to go better with your Ranger paint. Something like this.....

My other idea was can anyone think of a design where you use the same Ford Ranger Headlights or Corner lights of 01 and up to where it'll have more style maybe a curve somewhere or something I haven't really thought too much about the Headlight idea so sorry if it doesn't make sense.

yea I seen that one but I think it's too big was going more for the same letters like this taco has. maybe off a 1985 ford f150 not too big not too small just plain and simple.

O gotcha. Im sure you could find someone with a CNC and work up a deal. I dunno how much itd costs but if you did it, Id be willing to buy one. That way you could have a billet style AND the word Ford lol

Just bought these off ebay for $13 don't wanna pay too much since it's more of an experiment it's 2 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide so i think that's a good size. I'll post some pictures when I start on it.

Yea, I might get a mesh grille too and black it out I think it might look better but im going to try out the honeycomb first and figure out a way to not get the letters stolen as well but Im not sure what color im going to paint it maybe toreador red and black.

I think with a different Grille it has potential probably looks better with a painted front end and 03 Bumper.......Suggestions? Opinions? btw It's not permanently on the grille I just use cheap tape just to get an idea.

Larger characters should look good, get them centered both up and down and sideways.

OR maybe where they are larger than mine evenly spaced across the grille opening with the same spacing on both ends as in the center.

Should look good.

With some smaller flat bars it might look closer to the Raptor.

Yea, I think your right. I think i'll look into more ideas and maybe a different Grille get everything painted because I think that all plays a part in how it looks too. I'll take your words as advice "Do it right the first time"!

One more thing, I mounted my letters to a piece of aluminum, painted black, and mounted that to the grille. Easier than trying to mount the four letters, two studs each.

Good Luck with it and get us some picture, I may upgrade to larger letters.

I thought about that, seems like it would be the way to go. I wouldn't mind doing this myself sometime.
