Front end conversion

How much does it cost to do a front end conversion from 99 to 01-03 bumper, grille, headlights.and corners? and would this make the price drop when i went to sell it?

Depends on where you get your donor parts.

Why would you be worried about losing value? You've already changed many other things that are gonna hurt the value before the front end conversion. If anything it's worth more IMO. Probably shouldn't be doing mods like this though, if you're worried about the ending value of the vehicle.

I have a friend that rebuilds wrecked rangers and sells them, so he usually gives me a pretty good deal.He had a junkyard full of ranger parts and gave them all away before i got mine...

Did the hoods change between the 98-00 and 01-03 models? iv never noticed if so

Assuming you are talking about the trucks with the honeycomb grill, yes the hoods did change. Those trucks have "powerdome" hoods that are taller than yours. However, I believe the 98-00 hoods still work with the front clip.

Oh sorry about that i forgot to say the honeycomb grille, but would the stock 99 hood work instead of having the powerdome hood?

and Hurley iv wanted to do the conversion for a while too iv always liked the look of the 01-03 front ends better...i cant decide what grille to get i like the silver and black honeycomb but i want it to have some chrome in it but i cant find one thats honeycomb but has some chrome, but when i do i want the do the black headlight mod so it will match my truck haha

yes

my 99 with 01-03 grille, 98-00 bumper/valence, and stock 99 hood

little later down the road, same 99 with 01-03 front end (modded headlights), powerdome hood, 01-03 bumper/valence

Man. I like the looks of your truck. I have been wanting to do that with my 97 just wasn't sure it would work.
