Icon2 Front End Swap?

I would like to know if anyone has attempted a front end swap on their Rangers and how hard it is to do so. I would like to take the 1989 front end and swap it over to the 1983-1988 Ranger front ends. If you could tell me how hard this it to accomplish and what the dimensions of the fenders for both years are that would be great!

Thanks, Tony

Yah, your post is nothing at all like the original poster's question, but yes. If you buy certain parts (header panel, front end, new fenders i think) then yah you can look like a 2011 ranger or whatever year you want above 1993.

you should be fine you may have to drill holes for the headlight buckets i usualy see people doing the reverse swap.... in that case there is a little more stuff to do for the headlight brackets and what not.. you are gunna need the fenders hood lights bumper and grill.. the rad suporst are different but aslong as you can drill some wholes you can make it work..

spot on

fenders and grill are different....not sure about the hood

it would be easier if you found a wrecked 1st gen or BII 1st gen
that way you would have all the parts at hand
